Day 1. Nairobi – Nakuru by road.
AM. Breakfast at your hotel, Pick up & meet with your driver then depart for Lake Nakuru N.P. with en-route Game Drive Road trip: 155km/approx. 2.5hrs.
PM. Check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar in time for lunch. Do an afternoon Game Drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Attractions: Lake Nakuru national park is a world famous bird and rhino sanctuary. Millions of flamingos paint this lake with its shimmering pink colour. Other birds include pelicans, ostrich, marabou, ibis, eagles, vultures, woodpeckers, touracos, barbets, among others. Apart from the bird life, Lake Nakuru is abundant with wild game including lions, leopard, rhinos, impalas, gazelles, eland, zebra, buffalo, and giraffe. Here you have unmatched chances of spotting the rare Rhinos and leopards than in any of the other parks.
Day 2. Nakuru – Masai Mara by road
AM. Breakfast at the Lodge then Departure for Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Road Trip: 300km/approx. 5hrs. (Optional boat Safari at Lake Naivasha en-route).
PM. Check in at Mara Simba Lodge or similar in time for lunch. Relax then go on afternoon Game drive OR option to visit Masai Village ($30PP). Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3. Around Masai Mara.
AM. Early Morning Game Drive OR optional balloon Ride Safari ($460PP). Breakfast at Lodge then more morning Game Drive.
PM. Have lunch at lodge. Relax then evening Game Drive
Attractions: Maasai Mara is a country of vast rolling plains, rounded hills, acacia woodlands, dense thickets of scrub and beautiful views. Its vast plains teem with endless herds of game together with the associated predators This include lions, elephants, buffaloes, hartebeest, wildebeest, topi, eland, impala, gazelles, black rhino (very rare), giraffe, zebra, waterbuck, hippopotamus, crocodile, leopard, cheetah, hyena, jackals, among others. Bird species include eagles, vultures, marabou, ostrich, touracos, guinea fowls, bastards, cranes, and many more. The Maasai people who surround Maasai Mara have a rich and colourful culture that any visitor would wish to experience while in the Masai Mara.
Day 4. Masai Mara – Nairobi by road
AM. Breakfast at Lodge then Departure for Nairobi with stop at Great Rift Valley – 250km/approx. 5hrs.
PM. Lunch at Local Restaurant (African BBQ) on arrival. visit a souvenir market (if time allows). Transfer to JKIA or other arrangement.
