Mountain
Rock Bantu Lodge, a delightful country style holiday resort
tucked away in the woods on the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya, 7kms North
of Naro moru, 15kms south of Nanyuki and less than 1km from the main
road.
A
unique holiday destination...
The lodge is surrounded by luxuriant gardens with a spacious
lawn, and our own lake. The tranquil atmosphere and our all-round
professional service, promise you a truly memorable stay.
Our
Rooms
The lodge
has 28 rooms falling into either superior or standard
room categories. There are 12 Superior double rooms
convertible to triples comfortable.

The
difference between the standard and Superior rooms is
that the Superior rooms have inbuilt fire places useful
if you want to lounge in your room during the cold or
rainy season. |
Our
16 Standard Rooms have 2 singles and 7 doubles. The remaiining
Seven Doubles are convertible to either triples or quads.
This is good shared accomomodation for school/college
groups or budget travellers. |

Campsite...
The lodge is endowed with a lush lawns which also serve
as two separate fully serviced campsite with a shared
kitchen and flush toilets and hot/cold showers.
You can either came with your own tent or use our tents,
beddings and mattresses.

Conference
facilities...
We have a large conference facility where large groups
of upto 150 pax can sit comfortably. We also organise
for projectors and other conference essentials. |

Never
a dull moment...
Apart from
being a reception for trekkers and climbers headed to
Mount Kenya, at Bantu Mountain Lodge you also find a
wide variety of exciting, educating and entertaining
activities including horse roding, boating, fishing
and many more.
We offer
a variety of entertainment for our guests ranging from
traditional dances, animal dance drama, pool table and
disco music.

Mount
Kenya expeditions....
We started 15yrs back organising and supporting Mt. Kenya
hikers and climbers from our base - the Mountain Rock
BANTU Lodge.
Over the years we have expanded our operations
to include a central reservation office in Nairobi, 2
mountain huts along the Sirimon Trail plus a sizable stock
of other mountain equipment and crisis management apparatus.
Our wide experience enables us to provide and organise
comprehensive mountain treks and expeditions of any nature,
for mountaineers of varied ages, group size and mountain
experience.

Stop
over...
Being just halfway along the northern tourist circuit
of Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Meru National Parks, makes
us an ideal midway stop for those travelling from Nairobi
to the game parks.
Our
central location allows guests to make day excursions
to a number of major attractions.Mount Kenya and Aberdares
National Parks, Sweetwaters and El Karama game reserves,
Ken Trout Fisheries, Mkogodo Maasai village are all less
than 2 hours drive away.
Also to Schools and local community project and to the Mau Mau caves where we revisit
the war with colonialists in the battle for Uhuru. |
